I felt hella white trash today, walking down the drive and across the street to get the mail, in full view of the soccer-moms and retirees, shirtless and toting a corona at 2:30 in the afternoon.

p.s. I wish anyone in Chico was familiar with the name Wesley Willis. srsly. This town is, like, so totally square.
*snicker*. yes, I'm two beers and very little food in at 4pm and behaving strangely. Possibly because I haven't made out with anyone in months. I'm afraid I might forget how.
clearly my whining about chico is over-rated. But also, here is the evidence I have collected thus far: My boss today was told that an Indian client was pestering us to get work done unrealistically quickly. "He should just go back to Bombay," says the boss. no one skips a beat.
AC/DC's 'Hell's Bells' does not count as a classic of rock n' roll here. I asked.
No one here has ever heard of good music. Against Me, Mountain Goats, Neko Case, and Murder City Devils have all gotten blank stares.
I know it's not really as bad as all that, but the people who seem to make any sense to me are very few and far between.
alright. off to get a(nother) copy of settlers of catan so that my sister, brother-in-law, and I will have something to do with one another.
